I'd like to introduce myself and update you as to the exciting Fine & Rare Wine Auction coming up on September 21 at Butterfields. My name is JJ. Johnston, I recently joined the staff here as Business Manager for Fine & Rare Wines.

This is a particularly special time for us here as Butterfields embarks on a new era under ownership of the prestigious Bonhams Auctioneers. The August 1 acquisition of Butterfields by Bonhams connects the UK-based Bonhams, established in 1793, with the leading US West Coast house Butterfields, established in 1865. The result is a strategic bond of expertise, professionalism and friendliness creating a global auction house of choice. Exciting times are undeniably ahead!

With our September Fine and Rare Wine Sale we welcome in the Harvest season. For this particular sale we have brought to the auction block an array of rare collectible and consumable wines that strike virtually every corner of the palate, and pocketbook.
