This Faberge Imperial Egg is carved from a solid piece of heliotrope jasper.
The Azova Egg is decorated in the Louis XV style with yellow gold scrolls set with brilliant diamonds and chased gold glowers; the broad fluted gold bezel is set with a drop ruby clasp.
A tiny replica in gold of the Pamiat Azova yacht set on a piece of aquamarine is contained inside the egg.
